Located at the east end of Tesla Lake, the Tesla River is almost 2 miles of pure, natural virgin river connecting Tesla Lake to the Chezko River and on into Ootsa lake. A beautifully diverse stretch of water full of channels, pools, sandbars, islands, cutbanks and all the other challenges that fill a fly fisherman’s dreams, this experience is yet another of the gifts of nature waiting for you.

Open to fishing beginning July 1st., the river is home to resident native rainbows that will run in the 1 to 3 pound weight class and there is always the opportunity of hooking into one of the big marauding lunkers that meander down the river from the lake in search of an easy meal. A short, scenic 10 minute boat ride from the cabin, winding your way through connecting channels and a small lake will find you at the mouth of the river.

Tie up the boat, break out the waders and enjoy a rewarding day alone in the heart of a pristine untouched wilderness.
