A long narrow lake roughly divided into two sections by a distinct dogleg, Wahla Lake offers yet another type of fishing experience. Home to the same species of piscivorous rainbows that are found in Tesla Lake, the average fish will be in the 4 to 10 pound range but there are always those 20 pound behemoths lurking down there somewhere. The same techniques and lures used in Tesla Lake are effective here.

This is a lake of deep troughs, narrow channels, islands, and quiet bays that combine to provide the full spectrum of rainbow fishing. Because of the delicate ecostructure and in the interest of good resource stewardship, Wahla Lake has been designated as a catch and release lake and we recommend the use of single barbless hooks. You are allowed to keep one fish 20 inches or less.
